~website n education~

i) A website is a collection of webpages, images, videos or other digital assets that is hosted on one or more web servers, usually accessible via the internet.
ii) Education is the learning of knowledge, information and skills during the course of life.

From these two definition, is there any relations between website and education?

As i know, website is in education. It can include in education. For example, for some topics, the teacher can upload the notes in the web so before the students come to school, or attend the class, the student can review, study and get the induction set. It helps the students be ready before attend the class. But here in Malaysia we still stand behind in technology than the country like America, Australia or New Zealand. When will we succeed in fully approach the website in education?

  2. heyya irwan..
    atlast..u post something in here..bravo!!!

to my opinion, the use of web in education basically r not limited to uploading and downloading notes from the previous or upcoming classes. students should be given the chance to ask, to discussed, to comments the lesson in the web/weblog/etc.

  3. yup i agree wif fazza...yup students should come to the class too..teh notes just the additional resources...hm irwan i wanna to give some opinion based on your statement which is "When will we succeed in fully approach the website in education?"......nowadays our country is going to it..we have smart school...although school in the rural area has at least 1 or 2 computers...but maybe they do not have connection to internet...maybe 1 or 2 years later...

  6. thanks faza.. yes, u're right. but these are applied to students in big city, but if the students stay at countryside, its possible to do that. its counting to their family economics to get internet at home.. and etc, etc..bils, bils.. i think, if the government can give these wireless network for free for each state, i think your opinion will be the best. all students can change idea, chat or get input 24 hours a day and on 7 day a week.. hope the government can apply or get something of my opinion for our country. thanks..
